The Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi has just announced that they broke a Guinness World Record with their 13 meter long, 11.2 million dollar Christmas Tree. 

The Palace broke the record for the world's most expensively dressed Christmas Tree....that's an actual thing? 

Well some might find this lavish and impressive, we find it ludicrous. They could have done so much more with that money, something 100x more beneficial.

Guess we're a bit sensitive to national spending after the past few months!
