January 25th 2012 will mark the first anniversary of when hundreds of people banded together and took what was theirs.

Media outlets have been quick to jump the iconography bandwagon, and label Wael Ghoneim the face of the revolution.

If Wael Ghoneim was swimming in the pool of backlash earlier this year, he's about to be full on sequestered in it after his 2.5 million dollar book deal with U.K and U.S publishers was announced. It will be released in Arabic and English on January 25, 2012.

However, all those accusing Ghoneim of exploiting the revolution might have to take their tongues and hold them after the latest announcement via Twitter that Ghoneim will be donating all the profits directly to the country.
