mmmmm, ooh she is "the face of the revolution"??? who is the "di** of the revolution" ???
ok, well, she is courageous and eager when she criticized the American foreign policy.....but in some part, i think she misunderstood or blacked out for a while when he talked about tear gas.....other than that,to some extent, we or most of "civilized" Egyptians DO KNOW that the US has or had key role in this revolution... FACEBOOK, TWITTER, GOOGLE (WaelGhonim), GIGIIBRAHIM(AUC)............

and  i am saying even if the americans had a hand in the revolution, the people went down with it, because well they also wanted it, it might have been ignited by the americans, but for a fact is it was egyptians wanted ... that doesnt change that fact, we needed change,

regardless ba2a if its good or not, and all the people on the scene that are complaining that haram, we cant go party past curfew, or haram there isnt much parties to go, suck it up a bit

and with regards to gigi, i think she did okay, granted she could have done a lot better, but i think and its obvious that this girl camera shy.

please don't bring such FA23 crappy topics here: "we cant go party past curfe", i know some did complain about curfew and life was so miserable at some time, but come on, the country is being FU**** by many who were so deprived....i say it again the consequences of the revolution were not well contemplated......i do know that all of the religious groups that emerged post-revolution is something natural due to the past oppressions and detentions they were facing.....but still, nearly 17 million adult Egyptians can neither read nor write, according to recent government data, parliament elections are near, and people still fighting and concerned about who is in prison and who is still free, who has 3 villas and who got lands in Mubarak era...... COME ON, PEOPLE ARE FOOLED AND DISTRACTED WHILE OTHERS R PREPARING ND GETTING READY FOR THEIR BIG CHANCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's astonishing how GIGI thinks, really a brave girl but come on, how many (from 83 million people) can understand what she's talking abt and even watch her clip with John Stewart???? in 3 months average citizens heard extremely new political terms never known their meaning before: "Dostour, Democrateya, estefta2, sawra moddada, a7zab, 3almaneya, dineya, salafeyeen, ekhwan, soufeyeen, eshterakeyeeen, yasareyeeen, ect.......................

i know that the old regime is responsible in a way or another of dreadful education quality, and how people used to give birth to gazillion of children in country that most of its resources were embezzled relying on famous "el 3ayell beyeegi rez2o m3a", which proved to be somehow wrong if u did not provide enough "human rights" from education to proper living standard...... and now we are fruiting (byforce) the harvest of the old regime from thugs to murderers.....

The one thing I hated is silly comment that she took a class at the AUC, seriously is this how the rev happened?!

No civilised egys dnt think the US had hands in the rev u knw why bec if u were away during the rev and esp while phones and internet were down ud remember how the US kept on supporting Mubarak and later on was reluctant to support the rev also they are trying to control its outcome. Its nt about the US or any other power, its nt about the AUC from which btw the idea of Gamal as president started, the same place that granted his mother a suspicious degree, nt abt google, twitter or facebook its about Egyptians whove had enough and had the faith and will to change. Stop always needing to believe someone else was responsible for any thing good and have some faith. And before the dogs start barking, AUC has some amazing classes and grads but same is true for other Unis. I found her opening comment insulting to the revolution.

to the last anon i hope u can take a step back and open ur eyes to how it really happened. yes egyptians had had enough with this regime and had faith that there will be change. but what triggered this revolution was definitely not from egyptians. the US had a MAJOR role. read more about their foreign policy and y was mubarak suddenly blacklisted from the US. dont get me wrong mubarak was corrupted and almost everyone around him were the same and he does deserve to be put on trial.
but the fact is that he refused the US and Israel's attempts to allow the palestinians to migrate across the borders to Egypt and Jordan. and ofcourse comes along with it Hamas and Hezbollah etc...
and when Gigi said "she took a course in AUC" guess what!! yes there r courses on how to use social networking to infulence people and eventually how to create an uprise. how do u explain this "phenomenon" called Wael Ghoneim?
Im not discrediting the revolution, on the contrary, i do believe in the power of the egyptian people and their will was what brought down this whole system. but we should not be blinded by the US's influence. also dont u think their stance on this whole revolution from beginning to end was kinda fishy?!

for example, how many attended this class with GG? from 83 million Egyptians?????

how many use twitter & facebook (still from 83 million Egyptians) ??? or even have access to PC and internet???? compare with the number of people who joined the Khaled Sa3id Group.....

remember that during the interview she did mention that "America ignited" it.......
