Record numbers flocking to Carnegie Mellon or Georgetown University wouldn't be worth a headline, till we mention that all that flocking is taking place in none other than Qatar.

This raises questions for our post revolution Egyptianites, will Qatar quickly become the new hub mecca for foreign exchange students?

Will the American University in Cairo no longer be enough to sustain a flow of foreign academic scholarly imports?

Or will students still seek out Egypt for it's history, charm, and subjects like Egyptology?
