Amidst our newfound Egyptian renaissance, it's time to go green.
With Earth hours, Tokyo aids, Environmental documentaries, and neo-vegan celebrities, nations are actively making a conscious effort to pimp our Earth. With our Egyptian youngins hungering for a new improved Egypt 2.0, it's time to look at how we'll be dealing with our environment, stepping up, and taking our role.
If you're interested in taking a few first steps in joining this part of the major revolution makeover, then maybe you should head on down to Amr El Beleidy (@beleidy), giving a talk about the energy/envinromental challenges we're facing, the systems at play, how solar and wind power works, and he'll make sure to make it all non-technical for the eager but uninitiated.
The talk will take place at Bikya Bookcafe tomorrow from 8-9:30 pm.
3 Dr Zaki Hassan St, off el Nasr Street.
