The recent events have brought a lot of people's true colors into perspective: the loyal, the spoiled, the intellects, the ignorant, etc. and while some friendships may have ended over the disputes, our concern has shifted towards the public celeb status figures of the country.

We've come to wonder how Egyptians will accept the actors, musicians, and althetes that not only didn't back up their people - but also insulted them.

Pop star Tamer Hosni was kicked out of Tahrir for his unsupportive comments, which led to viral video of him sobbing like a little girl. Famous actors Yusra and Adel Imam demeaned their biggest fans by referring to them as ignorants who don't know better, while two famous soccer players were reported saying "burn tahrir with everyone in it", and more. Egyptians did not take this lighty...as we clearly saw with Tamer Hosni. How often has sha3b el Masri chanted, celebrated, and mourned soccer games with the team? These people are nothing without their fans, they should've thought twice before commenting. Where were their PR managers?

So our question is - will sha3b el Masri forgive them? Every one is entitled to their opinion, whether pro and anti...But, as public figures who have been backed by the Egyptian population their entire careers, was it smart to insult them? And then attempt to come back around patriotically after the fact? Will Egyptians ignore it as part of revolutionary tension?

We've seen a lot of changes in the Egyptian society...will forgiveness be one of them?

We're dying to see where these celebs stand post-revolution and whether or not sha3b el Masri will accept them and support them just like before.

What do you guys think??
