I seldom indulge in my own hype but I feel like its so important to address such a wonderful opportunity and its importance. I am extremely proud and honored to have been chosen by Disney to star in their first film in our region. To be part of a project that is being produced by one of the largest and most influential studios in the world, working with a multi-talented and internationally diverse cast and crew, and to represent our culture in such a positive, optimistic way is truly inspiring.  No words can explain how grateful I am that our actors have the option of no longer just being typecast as terrorists in Hollywood movies that often portray us in such an oppressed, dishonest, and negative light. We have an incredibly rich culture and beautiful family values like nowhere else in the world which will definitely be a great focus in our film, and that is why partnering up with Disney is perhaps the most genius/progressive idea on their part. As for the skeptic above, I too am amused that at the senile age of 23 I'm allowed to play an 18 year old. I am also too tall and possess defining Egyptian hips, but I would hope that Disney's belief in me; that I could be a role model at this unconventional age, height, and size will inspire young girls to follow their dreams regardless...and to be in that empowering position is more than I could have ever hoped for. Anyway, thank you Scene and Heard for following my career as Cairo's Socialite Du Jour...it's been delightful... xxxB
