In honor of the recent tragic events and how it's brought both the Christian and Muslim communities closer, famous jewelry designer Azza Fahmy will be releasing a "Ana Masry" bracelet next week for us to embrace our nationalism while looking super cute.

Some are super excited to buy the bracelet while others are extremely turned off at the idea that she's exploiting such a tragedy for business...hmmm

What we're wondering is whether or not the proceeds will be donated to charity or if the few hundred pounds that will be spent in an attempt to be patriotic will only benefit the brand?

Either way we love the brand and love the bracelet, but we'd much prefer to buy the accessory if 100% of the proceeds went to charity or were donated for a cause.

What do you guys think?

***UPDATE*** We have received the following info from Azza Fahmy's PR Rep:

"The bracelet is for charity and all proceeds will be donated. The tragedy that happened on NYE made us all deeply sad and the idea of this bracelet came genuinely from the heart because it affected all of us (the Azza Fahmy Jewellery team) on an emotional and personal level- the reason why we never mentioned which entity the money will be donated to (or how much it costs or when exactly will it be out in all boutiques) is that the team is exploring several avenues/entities to donate the money to."
