people get married expecting absolutely nothing to change in terms of their lifestyle. no one wants to compromise. they get married for the sake of getting married and then women throw the word "divorce" around. it's not all lovey-dovey. mesh 3aysheen fi romantic comedy.

our generation isn't accustomed to hard work and seems to think that if it's not easy, it's not for them. find me an 80 year old couple holding hands and ask them if it's always easy. it's not.

Pre-marital sex.

Yes, it's that easy. People usually get married without having had sex and then they discover their partner is not so good or some other problem appears. Face it, sex is a core element of marriage and should it be unacceptable for one of the 2 people involved then the whole relationship will quickly sour.

Think of another few examples:
- would you buy a car without trying it first or even sitting down inside to see how you feel?
- would you buy a perfume without smelling it first?
- would you buy a mattress without trying it?

I know those are not the same but it's the principle which I am trying to explain.
I realise religion forbids people from having sex before marriage but come on, let's stop fooling ourselves... People are drinking booze and smoking/sniffing all kinds of drugs and that's also forbidden!!

Anyway, just my opinion.

the majority of people getting divorced don't do so because of sex. the u.s. has the highest divorce rate in the world so clearly premarital sex isn't the solution.

To the one saying its bec of pre-marital sex, how vain are you exactly? Its not like young Egys arent having sex, many are and stupidly not out of a conviction or any thing. The first comment is the best. As a married woman I see how some girls around me chose their husbands, all talk about principles ect and in the end most of them go with the one with more money. Also, many guys choose based on looks and religion or lack thereof. How many talk in advance about how they would like to raise their kids, how they want to life their lives in 20, 30 and 50 yrs? How many were for real into knowing each other? understand what that commitment entails religiously and personally? Life wont be lovey dovey bec u r married it means u have a responsibility towards your spouse and kids and u can no longer take decisions thinking of urself only. It only makes life more bearable when you are together for the right reasons, it means u r facing the World together and will overcome problems together.

well.. i for one would like to sign up for that camp! seeing the circumstances of our generation I'd like to believe that things will be different with me... So yeah, why not and give a little effort and understand more about marriage and responsibility before saying I DO!
i honestly think its a great idea!!! more like a "pre marriage counseling"

i think its a good idea...i mean why not most of our generation lack good advice from experienced ppl, and dont listen and dont pay attention to the signals when they hit them so it can be an effective way to at least minimize chances of loosing it andending marriage. i just wonder will we go 3adi and sign up or it will be like going to a Psychiatrist!!!

also i disagree with the premarital sex, you can tell from the chemistry between any couple pre marriage i know sex is a major element for the success of the marriage but you dont have to try it first to see how good it is it doesnt make any sense..plus yes ppl drink and smoke and and but thats not an excuse for making another guilt
