"I believe that clothing should dignify a woman. That when she puts on a dress, she should look majestic and beautiful and that beautiy is left in people's minds, long after she has left the room. I believe that regardless of what we do and who we believe ourselves to be, we should always be comfortable in our own skin and comfortable in how that is reflected in our clothing, even if it makes us stand out, and that thought is what inspires me."
These are the words of designer, Deana Shaaban. Are you familiar with the fabulous designer?
Well, we had a little get to know with the designer herself. She's an AUCian that was educated in fashion design Istituo di Moda Burgo and patternmaking courses at the Institute Technique de la Mode in London. Back in Egypt in 2009, she decided to launch her website as she designed custom made evening and wedding gowns. In March 2010, Deane launched her first ready-to-wear line followed by her first fashion show in October, which included wedding gowns, evening gowns, and a ready-to-wear line inspired by the Renaissance and Victorian eras each designed and sewn by Deana herself.
The best part about Deana's work is that it is unique and custom made for each client, so that it reflects her own individuality.
If you're not familiar with Deana, then you should get to know her asap because this girl's talent will take her far!
