A day full of art and fashion posts, then you know it's a good day full of cultural endeavors...

Awhile back we introduced you to a new store Amuse in Zamalek, the lifestyle- concept store happens to host a branch of the Articulate Baboon art gallery, which is originally in Designopolis (now that we got the facts out of the way..the point of the story is)

Tomorrow for the first time in Egypt Sam Flores, the acclaimed graffiti artist will be exhibiting his stuff...the show starts at 7:30 pm..

Here's a little info on the artist:

"In keeping with the signature styling of his graffiti background, Flores' current fine art work carries an instantly identifiable voice and vision. His exotic characters and natural landscapes are at once lush and meticulous, such as his childlike characters and signature female Fatima figures.

Beyond his fine art, Flores has achieved popular recognition through clothing lines, skateboard and snowboard designs, signature home decor pieces, a limited-edition collection of vinyl toys and countless private and public commissions, including a room at San Francisco's Hotel des Arts. His work has been shown at the White Walls gallery in San Francisco, Lab 101 in Los Angeles and galleries in Japan, France, Italy, Germany, Singapore, among other locations throughout the world. He has also published two books of illustrations and prints currently available in limited release.

"The Weight: A Golden Soul" marks the first time his work has been exhibited in the Middle East."

Hey hey, looks like Egypt has gotten their hands on the exhibition first!
