@Second Anon: take a pill and chill, are you 2 related. The reason this country isnt getting any where is ppl like you who label any opposing comments as based on "hate". We have the right to agree or disagree, learn to live with that.
Ellie Saab as far as I knw was in Italy and France from the very beginning and all the other names you mentioned had established themselves abroad as well as domestically and none of them was born w a golden spoon in his mouth. In all cases, sure wld be nice to see her dressing major stars and would be nice to see ppl taking the fashion business seriously and by that I dnt mean some bored girls/women creating expensive crappy stuff or buying foreign brand. By that I mean developing fashion houses that are able to compete internationally and provide work for Egyptians.
