Out of 183 countries, Egypt was ranked 18th in business startups and 21st in trading across borders in a "Doing Business" report issued by the World Bank and IMF.
Apparently, Egypt has improved it's ranking in the report for the past 5 consecutive years and has managed to jump 108 positions since 2006!
In addition to the huge jump in starting a business positions, Egypt has jumped 84 positions in the area of getting credit, 54 positions in the area of property registrations, 65 positions in the area of trading across boders, 31 positions in the area of protecting investors, 16 positions in the are of paying taxes (we'll credit the hilarious ads for that one), 11 positions in the area of construction permits, and 3 positions in the area of enforcing contracts.
We're loving the successful reports on our country! Keep up the awesome work, we're so proud!
