Sony has just announced that they will stop the production of the first portable cassette player "The Walkman".

While this may sound unimportant to some of you youngins, for generation X and Y, the Walkman stands as an icon, it was our first portable music player and played a huge part of our childhood.

With the rocket speed of new technology and music players, the Walkman will retire with pride.

If you have an old one, hold on to it!
