Our BBM society is getting a little too much with the forwards...and now, STATUSES!?

Let us make one thing clear: BBM is not FB. It is NOT Twitter. It is a phone messaging service, so why do you feel the need to change your picture and status everyday? Do you change your phone number or email everyday? No.

It's become an obsession of some people to change their pic or status everyday on BBM like we're waiting to see if they've changed their hairstyle or are wondering if they've had a bad day or are "Frustrated with life". If you feel the need to express yourself, there are so many platforms now. Blogging, twitter, facebook, you name it! Like we said before, BBM is not Email...and now apparently people are confusing it for a social network.

Now don't get us wrong (which most of you will anyway) - updating that you are "Busy with work" or "Busy studying" or "Unavailable due to travel" or whatever, is fine... we admit that it's a good way to let people know that you can or cannot chat. However, Faffy and Susu and Ferfer are not our concern and seeing them on your statuses make us want to delete you.

So please, our beloved friends, stop abusing BBM.
