Everyone knows why scene and heard have been dissing both Enigma and Alter Ego lately. When you manage to get ads on your site then go around dissing other people's efforts. Karma will bite you in your ass, and you know exactly who you are. It is no secret anymore.

hey, i don't think it promotes hatred at all, i think it's quite informative and we all know everyone in this country checks out the site, so we know its affective in terms of advertising...

As for the hatred if that says anything it's the people's comments, and just shows you whats brewing and hiding behind people's cool calm demeanors, if you pay attention i don't believe they actually say anything wrong, rather people or readers or whatever they are the one's with the sickening attitudes...

Again thats my opnion the add is supposed to go up this week i think, so will let you know wat the feedback is

people hate hearing the truth, i think these magazines organizers etc...should hear from the people what their true opinions are then their entourages of 10 who keep kissing their asses telling them their doing an amazing..

instead of bitching and moaning about all the hatred, how about take it as constructive criticism and better yourselves!

not informative. not good for ads who demand credibility. Someone proposed to me to advertise here and according to our international standards this is by no means a platform for effective advertising. Who visits this site? 2, 3 people? are they young? Are they female, male? it may be a good pass time for kids, but not a platform for brands- credible ones.

See u proved my point it's you the commentors who are angry, u obviously are holding a grudge for some reason or are competition,but u are taking the time to comment and come here regardless, I have their google analytics, I'm not at liberty to say numbers but trust me definitely one of the biggest sites in Egypt.

So yes it's legit to my actually very well known brand, as ursupposed a class no matter how begruntled u r u all come here, so I'll b targeting you ;)

And those sites r evil snh is like a toddler next to them, and advertisers are on there for the sheer numbers and their target audience!

Advertising is great, but its all about branding and what you want to associate your brand with, and by all of us commenting lets face it, we are only three commentators.

and if it was so attractive to advertisers,  and marketing then why is there this whole caution sign, advertise here, when obviously no body is advertising ?

ok here are my 2 cents...

1) The commenters are the enablers here...you guys are what makes S&H special.

2) I believe that S&H is a very successful brand...after all they started the digital phenomena in Egypt, especially with all the website are coming up nowadays. And its very hard not to see that a lot of people do know it.

3) Kudus for them for actually staying anonymous since they started and i believe that this is what is making you all out there itch, hey im itching myself.

4) Do they take political stance? Well i guess who doesn't everyone in the world has an agenda and if they do have a tool to spread it with then it would be stupid of them not to.

5) Honestly, i don't know what magazine have to fear, you guys are on top of the chain by design, you shouldn't care what a few peeps on a website have to say. Well, Unless you see that they actually do have a n effect on you...which means they are powerful...so its a circle of belief...believe in yourselves and let others believe in themselves.

6) Concerning advertising, well yeah the signs are pretty hazardous, but everyone is gotta make a buck. And in marketing there is no shame. Agency throw themselves at companies to make money, in the digital world it is hard. So be and let be.

7) I think the problem in Egypt is that people don't take criticism in Egypt very well. Its an Egyptian complex ideology, listen to people like scene and heard and maybe you might make yourselves better. Don't take a high stand we are all here on this world to listen to others and evolve from our ancestors.

8) Do I like the bashing, well sometimes its harsh but it comes mainly from the commenters, its us, we are the ones that enable this bashing. I actually had to go back and read some of the comments from old articles, and man people can be harsh: but its all constructive criticism.

9) I have nothing against any magazine but my honest to god opinion is this : -

Alter Ego - your distribution is bad, I'm not just saying that to bash, no I'm actually criticizing. (don't huff and buff, just listen and look at it and see where you can improve...im just sayin). Concerning the articles, well i cant say much coz you are not the only people with this problem in Egypt, all the magazines have it, YOU NEED TO FIND PERSPECTIVE, i think its to do with the material itself. Other than that great magazines, interesting and with a little improvements would be great.

Enigma - You guys have culture and an identity which is good but i think you guys only cater to a niche in society, you need to step it up a bit and do more coverage and more on stories which tackle issues in society. You need to take a break from stories about the IT list, the Abaza brothers n stuff.

im just talking here guys...take it or leave...we are one of the first civilizations to ever emerge lets act like civilized people....love you all

well, its hillarious scene and heard just put a random old ad! lol and they also changed their advertising signs today. you guys are retarded. Yes, i agree i dont get to see alter ego as much as i wish i could, i love the covers, the articles need to be more in depth, but overall its a good magazine if we compare it to the other crap in the industry. Enigma is by default a good magazine they are celebrating 10 years in the market so they seem to me to be the most experienced. I agree with 'sound of reason', by commenting on this site you are enabling scene and heard. Please don't let this website be the reason for a bad day, they have no influence and are regarded as silly kids (by the way they are not anonymous. Most of me and my friends know the chick behind it and she's just trying real hard to fit into society. This is her way, so let her be.)

As for the statistics egypt has over a million websites if you soo smart, being in the top 20,000 and to an english only spiking niche that's HUGE!

So let's stop dissing you obviously all are taking the time to come back over and over again, including myself. They have made the online phenomenon in Egypt, and tell it like it is unlike anyone us with anterior motives who has made himself known to the important ppl in the scene so he can climb the social ladder.

Yes I really am, I dnt appreciate your erroneous claims, as we are the sole tawkeel located in Dubai, and it is policy all our ads divert to international website. And as you may know since there is no international shipping to Egypt it is not put on official site.
