from another perspective really when you think of kylie costs something like 1.5 Mil a night or something, most of this money is covered by sponsors etc,  but maybe not all, as there is a lot more going in the event, in terms of costs, and in tersm of entertainment, after all its NOT ONLY KYLIE !!  

and yes this is going to be a BIG event, but the number of people going to be in this event is not compared to the madison squared, using the logic of math,... madison square can hold up 150,000 people divide the cost of madonna among that 150000 regular joes,  and you get cheap tickets,

with enigma party, how much do you expect people to be going ..10,000. exactly, since its more exclusive and not aimed for a wide net and is not a stadium concert, NATURALLY as per the laws of math that the ticket price per person would be more expensive

S|H of course you are entitled to speak your mind or like you call it "tell like it is" but you as entity also has a social responsibility ... i.e. choosing right words etc, ya3ni that whole way you just put that sentence just ticked me off

i have one thing to say, since obvoiusly the above comment was so from someone in Enigma. The ticket price is crazzzyyyy (n i have bought a ticket from you guys, from tazkarty already) im one of the few!!!

Also to the above anon, you don't know how the entertainment industry works then, it has nothing to do with the laws of math, they have managed to pull off this event without spending a penny literally! they have pretty much from the farasheen sponsoring them! So i would question their intentions as well, as i highly doubt that the 500 k they have profited will all be going to chariy.

When you do event, you don't throw the cost of the artist in the face of the public uve never been to a concert abroad? they never say hey guys so n so cost us this much hence ur meant to pay 600 dollars. It is up to the organizer to sort out the logistics and not force it upon ppl the crazy prices. Even if they had a 1000 l.e. ticket the amount of people chosing to go see KYLIE (who is so passe') will still be of the elite, as no 1 ghetto will want to throw away a 1000 pounds! to us that is a night out, to alot of people that's their months wages!

Good luck though, i'm coming Enigma ppl, hope its worth my money!

I am a person with postive beliefs mo, and i like to believe enno that i can trust one of the biggest investment banks in egypt, enno i can trust enigma as magazine, because if we dont give them benefit of the doubt what will we gain,

while i am sure the magazine in their november issue will post pictures and details of how the money is going to be used, ya3ni akeed when they would have raised so much money, it wont just go missing in thin air, i am just they would show its readers, where our charitable money went too ... and to anonymous person  ... i am glad you got the ticket and i guess i will see you there... and i am also hoping that it would be impressive  ... alot of us have high expectations from them on this

I don't work for enigma but I do have this to say, having attended and paid the VIP ticket for shakira which was shit and cost nearly the same 3000 LE seems to be the going rate for these concerts.  What I like about abut this one though is unlike shakira which played like 7 songs and left with no real show this is a Kylie tour show as well as free drinks and food. I spend like 1,500 LE when i go to Tamarai on a Thursday so I am sorry its not that over the top for what you are getting.  The funny thing is everyone will bitch but everyone will go.  No once is forcing you, if you dont wantt to go don't go so why bitch

And it's clear they released the 1000 tickets because specifically the reason NO ONE is buying the 3000, and everyone we know that is going got them as invites, which is fine. They just should make it invitational and have people donate there, like proper events abroad that are done to raise money for charity.

I cnt believe people are arguing this, yet when it comes to 300 pounds etc for parties your all cheap..balad ghareeba fa3lan!

1) trying to pretend to be an influencer on the scene, by typing in red that was it right or what? as if the post of a mere blog could influence the might of the most selling English magazine In Egypt

Not that they have that much, I would only assume so since no one wants to advertise with
5) To be fair, 500USD is a lot, but did any of you check how much is she going for in london O2 arena for the VIP tickets, 150. And that is for a larger amount of crowd, so does that mean that if you purchase the ticket you are giving 350 to charity? Does that really hurt you ? How cheap.
Since scene and heard so cleverly mentioned Madonna concert, I know it was 250 usd on the normal market, black market reached 800, I would know because, I went to it and gladly payed the black market price so that thousands of others. But obviously a lot of you have the concept charity lost on you, do you know how much does a seat on a fund raiser dinner costs in The MET, no you don't because as much as you like to pretend to be in gossip girl, you are not, But I have been and it does costs more than a mere 500USD

Tazkarty is responsible for the ticketing of most of Egypt's big events this is no different.  We can confirm the following:

1) There was a plan for 1000 LE tickets from day one but only if the ticket sales for the 3000 LE were good enough to justify expanding the area.  This target was achieved so the 1000 LE tickets are being sold.  This is not a last minute decision it was something planned many weeks ago.

2) The 1000 LE tickets are concert only, and Enigma should be applauded for catering to the public who just want to enjoy Kylie and not the party.  In terms of ticket sales they really didn't have to.

3) While we can not comment on how an event will turn out, the planning which has gone on this event is really quite outstanding.  

4) So customers are fully aware this is not just a normal Egyptian concert where the artist is performing a few songs the Enigma team and the organizers have managed to have Kylie perform her tour show.  This is something which rarely happens on out of tour events.

5) Also included is a top notch party to celebrate 10 years of Enigma.

The reason this was posted was to clarify the facts and also clarify what the 1000 LE ticket is. For those who are attending we are sure you will have a fantastic night, for those who don.t hopefully there will more artists coming in the future.

we need to know the poll result guys, we need to know how the scene is looking like........and a matter of fact most of friends and people i know expressed a little bit of how ritzy the tickets were (3000 LE), the 1000 ones are pretty affordable.....and if the tickets were selling as if u mentioned, in a logical way or another u would have increased the number (limit), or added a new category same as u did last night, the 1000 pounds ones which are below the half of the original ticket price,
do u know that her upcoming concert in London (April 2011) tickets are already SOLD OUT, 85 BP a ticket???????????????????? and please people, dont talk about such things especially COST, in front of drivers, maids, ect...
