He was not "found guilty twice", there's still an appeal. If he was someone who could buy his way out he wouldn't have gotten into jail to begin with, he is being tried and treated as any man on the street. Let's not throw out rude words and gossip about this case when we really don't know the facts, have some respect and consideration to him and his family. And unless you know every detail of the case, do not label him as guilty.

@Enough: Its a public case and we arent the only ones raising brows at the judgement. Ask any one with some legal knowledge. The ruling is absurd but Im guessing the court knew the judgement will be appealed by both the prosecutors and the defendants so, wanted to cut the time short. Now as to why the ruling is strange. Its either the court finds Sokary guilty of murder or not. If he is found guilty of murder he must get the capital punishment or life. As for Hisham, according to Egyptian Law his is treated as an original offender i.e. he shld get the same punishment. So, its either both are guilty of murder or not and in all cases they must get the same sentence. Also, BTW, the fact that her family withdrew their civil claim against them shld have NO effect on the courts decision. If any thing, if a proof was presented that he paid her family off this should be taken as admitting guilt. Also, paying "deyaa" according to Sharia is allowed ONLY in case of wrongful killing and that is the rule despite having some countries like KSA twisting it and applying it in all cases, which of course makes no sense and defies basic principles of justice according to Law and Sharia rules as well.

Now, to you and all others defending Hisham ect. Im totally against throwing accusations at him but this man and his family ARE using their money and connections to get him out. Legal circles have been talking about how he will get out and not bec the case isnt strong against him and Sokary. He is also receiving a favourable treatment while in jail. This is unfair to others facing criminal convictions and his family is clearly using their money to buy off the family of the deceased and others as well. I wont get into their Madinaty issue but Ill say one thing those using legal but immoral ways to steal the Egyptian ppl from their money will face justice one day and one way or the other and this family has had several warnings from God, let's see if they will switch path.

@Anon: and why wasnt that a fair trial? Why wasnt the first trial fair? Fact is the first trial was fair and he and the other shitty person got what they deserved but its a legal norm in Egypt in cases were the defenders get the capital punishment to grant them an appeal. His defence team managed to get him a re-trial. What else did you want? Also, even though the actual decision and its merits has yet to be deposited, statements by a Judicial source in Al Shorouk made it clear that the court has already reached its conviction that they did do the crime and that the defence team did not supply any new evidence and wanted to keep on presenting repeated statements. If this is true the real question is how come the two defendants didnt get the capital punishment again? Did the judge do that to get rid of the case so as not to bear the pressure and responsibility or did he do it knowing that the decision will be appealed either way, which is btw expected?!!
Get off your high and might horse and before making speculations about the trial and its fairness try and do some research and talk with some law experts. Its clear even if he managed to buy his way out that the evidence are strong and btw the very fact that he paid money for her family means one thing that he is admitting to his role in killing their daughter.
