@Gaga: Angham has an amazing voice, probably hers is better than lady Gaga. I never used to like her until I was in Jordan and was invited to one of the Garash festival nights. Angham was actually the one performing that night and let me tell you she has a strong voice and to my own surprise she apparently has a lot of fans. This was years before she had her new look.

Now, the real question is what makes a woman with so much talent and a good % of followers resort to imitation? Im guessing her manager and those behind her PR are lame and she needs to fire them.

angham wears glasses and changes her hair..so its lady gaga...the album genre is funky, retro/electro...the choice of hair cut...glasses...background was chosen to fit the music genre....not to mention that angham had this hair cut when she was seven!!

in art direction they are both very different.

you have cropped anghams cover..place both covers next to each other then say they are identical.

@Fahmy: if the two covers are taken to court, what matters is how similar the two covers and not how different they are, thats a legal principle btw.
No one is saying Lady Gaga invented this style, what we are saying is that Amghams cover doesnt seem original and Im sure there are those with creative minds who could do something that is more suitable for her and creative as well.

further more  angham glasses are way different than the gaga full mask glasses, where anghams are retro

Gaga hides her eyes and everything in her cover, angham doesnt....

stop hating an arabs just because they are arabs, and start respecting your own... and to be honest i dont see any relationship between the others, because if i get two album covers that has close up of faces and sunglasses then i can make any of the two look like each other

I think we are our own's worst critics as evident from the above comments.
If Angham came out with the same look like the last album, this page would read, WTH why can't she get a clue and learn from gaga...not that I totally agree that she is imitating gaga....the cropping of the cover is a bit misleading here...
i think the look is retro and funky and it fits how her new album is being promoted.
I actually applaud her for having the guts to trust young egyptians and changing her look and sound...and it's all about the sound since she is a singer after all....
i look forward to the full reveal

Angham has an amazing voice and shes a lady and this is in reply to the last Anon. I applaud her to for seeking a different look, as a way to promote her album. What is wrong though is ripping off an album cover and again if this is the case here, it is not her fault but the fault of those behind art production for the album.
At the end of the day, again wt matters is how similar the two covers are and not how different. There is nothing wrong or illegal about using the same genre or a style that belongs to a particular era, what is wrong and illegal is to copy enough elements that together they make the two covers seem similar and so you would be overriding on the previous creation of others. If Gaga ever picked up a Madonna cover just like that and w/o permission be sure the record company owning the covers will get sued. Also, to be honest, its not the first time we see this, weve seen so many local films promoted by covers taken from foreign movies.
I wish those commenting would take into consideration that in real life, this all comes down to legal principles and not just personal opinions. Also, for me, standing against such cut-past-Egyptianize behavior, is all about promoting real and honest local talents and supporting creations that are inspired by us and to us. Take this notion and apply it in creative industries and we would end up with better and stronger products and this is how you reach out and present your self to the World.

The comments are retarded! Angham's features looks similar to Gaga: same droopy eyes, teeth, mouth, even the same long sharp nose! The difference is that Angham's look is RETRO and it reflected the choice of her music. Her music she picked is NOT classics, it's electronics. No way she will do a cover where she is classic.. it doesn't make sense... And it's a smart move because marketing wise, it got your attention and you are eager to hear what it is all about! Gaga is crazy and lunatic and out of this world. No way that Angham will strip herself and cover herself in yellow "caution" bands or wear yellow wigs! Although she changed her image, Angham is still who she is. Just check the inside of the cover to see that the essence of Angham still exists. Some people are stupid...
