We all know how obsessed society has become with their blackberry's and iphones...and it was only a matter of time before someone in Egypt jumped onto the app bandwagon!

Low and behold, a group of people created the first of it's kind app in Egypt, called the Circle Tie.

It's the first social guide on Blackberry in Egypt...which uses GPS to tell you where the closest hot spots are in your vicinity &  tell your friends where you are by checking in your location. You may also use status updates to allow others to know what is happeneing around you.

It only works for Cairo now, but we have to say it's a fantastic idea:
