We hear about ridiculous prices demanded by stars, but this seems a bit ridiculous.
Egyptian actress Somaya Al Khashab, known for her roles in a number of famous soap operas and movies in Egypt, has announced that she won't accept less than 150 thousand to star in any more Ramadan roles. Being absent from the scene for a couple of a years, she came back this Ramadan with quite the attitude, demanding that she deserves 150 grand due to her hard work.
Ok, we get that you're a recognized name, but seriously, going on shows and demanding? Actors and actresses are expendable! They can be replaced, which is why we don't get how they become so spoiled and greedy - especially when you consider where they started! (This applies to foreign actors as well).
We wonder, at what point does an actor/actress think to yourself that the movie industry can't survive without them?
