If you ask us it seems like everything in Cairo is burning or catching on fire...

As many of you have heard last Tuesday the Friday Market in Sayeda Aisha (Soo2 El Gom3a) caught on fire after a car swerved off the bridge and blew up, causing many people to lose their businesses as well as reeking traffic hell across the Autostrad and  Heliopolis to Maadi Area.

The losses are estimated to be in the 50 million pound mark, while lives were lost as well in the tragic event!

The government has come up with plans to re-compensate the merchants who have lost majority of their stalls...they will be moving the market to the 15th of May district, allocating approximately 15,000 acres...

Although we think it's a good step in the right direction, we can't help but think reallocating these people and their business's won't be that helpful, especially since people were used to the old location and its easy accessibility.

Do you guys think the proposition to move the market is beneficial or is it just an attempt to take advantage of the disaster and empty out the city?
