What a weekend it has been Cairo, we don't even know where to being. We love how Cairo is either completely dead with nothing going on, or all of a sudden every male and female socialite out there is making the rounds...
So let's kick it off...
Thursday-

School Disco 2: Thursday brought on the long awaited School Disco 2 which took place at the Swiss Club...everyone was dressed in their school attire, having the time of their lives...we guess when you go to a place in which you know you don't have to be a part of our pretentious outings everyone lets loose! DJ Amr Hosny was amongst one of Cairo's hottest DJs spinning at the event...
All the proceeds from the event went towards helping underprivileged families...the organizers raised a whopping 120,000 pounds for Asdequa Al Talib and Education for Employment - 2 charities with great educational initiatives for Egyptian youth.
Engagement: Thursday also was the engagement of Mido Abdellah and Nadine Sabry at Tamarai (that's why Tamarai was closed on thursday)...the cozy engagement was attended by the couples close friends and family, who we hear partied the night away...
S&H wishes the couple a long and happy future together...
Friday -

Todo Comedy Weekend: As we all know and most of us have attended, the Todo comedy event that took place at the Cairo International Conference Center. We all need a laugh sometimes and that's exactly what Maz Jobrani and the crew did for the full house!
Engagement: Friday night also saw the engagement of Osama Abdel Mohsen and Nadine El Alfy at Andrea el Haram...we hear the event was attended by a lot of Cairo's male and female socialites who were there to celebrate the newly engaged couple...
We also wish them a long prosperous life together!

Matinee in Dubai: While everyone was busy in Cairo over the weekend, all our Egyptian's here in Dubai headed out to Matinee! Organized by Thrust entertainment and a Ms. Hernandez who happened to be in Cairo previously..The organizers thought it would be a great idea to bring legendary party to Dubai, and how right they were...Hosted at the Grand Habtoor with a cameo by J. Louis and Vanessa Klien, we can't imagine anywhere else we'd want to be!
