Relationship politics are always a good time...
We've recieved vairous S&H Help Reader emails asking us simple one liner questions like "It's my ex's birthday, should I send them a message or is that inappropriate?" ...and then we got to thinking, we all face this problem!
We've all had exes, some broken up on good terms and others on bad terms...but either way, we always wonder what's allowed, encouraged, or discouraged! You break up on good terms and want to send a "how are you" message - is that okay? You break up on bad terms but it's their birthday, do you send a happy birthday?
Regardless of the relationship, we truly believe in respecting the relationship with all it's good times...but maybe that's just us! Again though, even with respecting the relationship, what's appropriate?
Some say that cutting the person off is the healthiest thing and that sending a hi how are you message may allow emotions to stir...while others argue that its not that serious, a hi how are you is just being polite and harmless. What about occasions?
What do you guys think?
