We all have them...deceptive friends. They're shady, sketchy, and love to tell lies. They love to cause drama and squiggle their way out of taking responsibilities...but then they always find a way right back into our lives and make us forgive and forget -- but for how long??
We've seen friends that cause problems between other friendships, blatantly lie, etc etc...but always seem to stay in the picture. We realize it's because most people know that it's just the way they are and accept and deal with it, but isn't that enabling them?
The more we allow people to screw us because "that's the way they are" or "he's just an ass like that" ...the more we're enabling them to stay that way! No one learns from their mistakes as long as we ignore it and move on, right? So why do we do it!?
If we find ourselves accepting the negative and hurtful behaviors of others time after time because "there's no hope" or "that's just the way they are" then we are no better, and we definitely can't get upset when they do it time and time again!
