Seems like the common trend these days is for the weekend is for it to start early...
Wednesday saw the soft opening of Supper Club at the Fairmont Nile Towers...think laid back glamour...with a touch of Jazzy old school tunes belted out by the house singers.
Also on Wednesday, Indigo brought in Nacelle and Tito to spin at the lounge...obviously those two brought in quite a crowd that were up for their funky mix of tunes...
Thursday saw nothing specific happening except for a couple house parties, one in Palm Hills and the other in Katameya Heights...Tamarai was also packed for a bday, and the usual antics went down (yes we're being vague!)
As for Friday a fabulously themed engagement took place and we would like to congratulate Tarek Hosny and Salma Moussallem, wishing them a happy future together!
Also on Friday, BAT (British American Tobacco) teamed up with Omar Rateb to bring us Steve Edwards in Andrea for a one night extravaganza, accompanied by the Awadi Bros..
Steve is the voice behind tracks by Bob Sinclair and Yves LaRock...and if you all go back in your memories a bit, he even graced one of our socialites' wedding in London last summer!
As for tonight, if you scroll down...you'll know that Cairo Jazz is hosting Wust El Balad...
