As one week comes to an end and a new one begins, we become more aware of how quickly the summer is coming to an end...


As some of us get to spend endless days by the sea, others of us all have to run back to our offices, classes etc...


(we don't know why this post took a turn for the nostalgic...on to the point)


This weekend saw a lot of action:


Thursday night, saw all of Cairo's glitterati heading out to both Sky Lounge and Marassi (looks like both venues have the crowd evenly split up)...Though we have to say after consulting one another that Sky Lounge on Thursday was more crowded with a little appearance from actor Hussein Fahmy.


As for Friday DJ Abigail Bailey rocked the Marassi crowd, the overpacked venue had people dancing through the night (with what we're sure was with the help of some substances!)
While Sky lounge was a little more relaxed than the night before since the Big Boys decided to make an appearance (Yaseen Mansour, Mr. Gammal). We wonder if they are impressed with this years organization? Reservations were limited on Friday night to make sure they were not bothered by the overcrowding. Andrea had it's usual crowd and vibe, nothing special.

On Saturday, Ganzoury pulled a smart move for Marassi by letting women in for free with Super Hits Saturdays. Also a nice change from the raver scene that sometimes conquers Marassi as the night proceeds. Nice move Ganz!

All in all, a chill but eventful weekend. Next weekend is our last sahel weekend so we hope it's good! :) See you then!
