LOL OMG! you guys were waiting something like that to bash me, weren't you?!
First of all I totally respect & admire Marwa and I feel sorry for her and her family, all I was saying that we love "el mozayda" in our Eastern societies; let's boycott German products, let's cut our German-Egyptian relations, let's call her veil martyr, let's dedicate a street in her name...etc!

If they want to pay back for Marwa's soul and her family(if they EVER can!), they should do civilized actions; the Egyptian law-specialists(or police or whoever they should be) should fiercly follow-up the German investigations, Egyptians in Germany should raise public awareness...etc!

IMHO, I see that lifetime sentences are much worse than death sentences!

Exactly my point, if there are already racial acts in general in Germany so in Marwa's case; when the media and Egyptian/Muslims anger reached the globe, Germany took positive steps to the point that the German Ambassador receieved her body at the airport!
It's all about legal actions and raising international awareness, not by dedicating a street in her name and calling her veil martyr!

I didn't mock Marwa, It's very interesting that you see it "a chosen sexual orientation" and "fragile minority"!

IQ: She was killed because she is Muslim and because she was wearing the veil. Her killer was in court in the first place bec ppl reported him abusing her because of her veil.I think she's an amazing woman to have sought to enforce her rights against him and also protect the society from idiots like him, through the judicial system.

Germany has a real issue with foreigners in general and Muslims in particular. Im not saying they are all racist or that Muslims are hunted down the streets. I am saying from personal experience Ive seen first hand how some ppl mistreat veiled girls and that is unacceptable in a society that claims to be free.
Also for those muslims living or citizens of Europe this was a major incident because this was the first clear and documented anti-Muslim crime.

As far as I know her family and the Egyptian gov both have taken legal actions against the killer and thanks to the anger Egyptians back home along with the Muslim community in Germany showed the German gov finally took some positive steps.

IQ: would u have mocked her the same way if she was not veiled? or if she was homosexual? Since you belong to a very fragile minority thanks to your chosen sexual orientation, shouldnt you be sensitive to attacks on minorities? Would u feel the same if they name a street in occupied palestine "Israel" after the 2 guys killed for being homosexuals?

This should be an international issue!!people wake up they consider us animals! and btw thats not the first incident their is a muslim guy that was killed a few years ago for practicing islam in america the killers painted all over his house things like "fuck islam and arabs"..u guys should discuss these issues more its sad and humiliating enough ...people should be aware about whats taking place!

It's a tragic story but dying tragically doesn't warrant getting a street named after you. Once in a while a Christian is killed in Egypt simply for being Christian and no Christian countries name streets after them. Why? Because civilized countries don't name streets after people just for getting killed.

haha what about her rights? justice? what does snh have to do with it!  It's not Reuters people, the post was about the street being named after her and they even wrote they know it won't make up for it but its an honorary gesture.
