Back at our desks and already counting down to Thursday!

Here's what happened in Sahel this weekend - but this time we'll take it place by place since it was a long weekend ;)

Marassi was packed every night of the weekend, especially on Friday with the Freemasons DJing. The music was great but the crowd was a bit weird - looks like door selection is picking on the wrong things. Lots of people were definitely on something that night and there were bunches dancing on speakers and stuff. Great music though!

Sky Lounge was very crowded this weekend! On Thursday, the door was an absolute mess - It was beyond crowded. Inside, the music was great but it was super crowded - which is weird, because the door was so crowded as well it looked like a mob! and a lot of people WITH reservations didn't get in...Did they overbook? Otherwise, the music was great - the Awadi's impressed everyone as usual! On Friday, a lot of people chose not to go due to door problem from the night before but for those that did go and also those that went on Saturday, it was a pretty good time.

Andrea was great on Friday night as usual. On Saturday, it also had a great crowd and great music, although a little heavy on the Arabic but that's okay sometimes we like to shake it!

This weekend was definitely a crowded and busy one ... so maybe a week in Cairo is what we need to rejuvenate? ...naaaah!
