honestly, look, you think you're in love with her but the truth is you just want what you can't have and that's how every human in the world is. if that girl was single you wouldn't want her as much as you do now. it's the thrill of the impossible. so what i think you should do is that you should keep distant and you can think of her all you want because i know no amount of words can help you change how you feel so just dont ruin it for your friend and not only will you be doing that but  u'll be losing your friend, violating his trust, going behind his back and lying to him, OVER A GIRL?! who in the end might not even be worth it or might not even like you or even might not be who you think she is as a person. and dont listen to the jackasses who call you a bad friend, you're only human but ur actions toward the situation is what is really gonna help judge whether you are worthy of being a friend or you're not.

Is your friend in love with her?
Cause if you really are IN LOVE which is a big big BIG thing to feel and he isn't then you should tell him.
Only if he's not in love iwth her though. Does that make sense?

Get him to tell you he's not in love with her, and then tell him how you feel.
Don't just say I'm in love with her.
Tell him what you're going through and how hard it is for you, what you actually feel towards her. He'll probably get mad but then hopefullyy he'll understand.
And then tell him to do only what he feels comfortable doing, even tell him you sent this in. Tell him you can take your distance from both of them. Or whatever he likes.

Cause basically whatever you do now,
you're damned if you , damned if you don't/

So I don't think you should keep it bottled in.

And do it face to face.
