We just thought this was really interesting...

A New York Times reporter who was held captive by the Taliban recently escaped after 7 months alongside a local reporter. David Rohde won a Pulitzer Prize in 1996 for his reporting on the Srebrenica massacre in Bosnia and was also part of The New York Times reporting team that won a Pulitzer Prize in May for coverage of Afghanistan and Pakistan last year.

We're really happy to hear that because journalists seriously have some of the most dangerous jobs out there...a lot of them get wounded, kidnapped, or worse killed just trying to report the news for the rest of the world.
