Egyptian soccer player Amr Zaki is set to leave Wigan after his manager Steve Bruce announced his loan deal won't be permanent.

Rumors claim that the relationship between Zaki and Bruce has recently taken a downturn as he was behaving "unprofessionally" by returning late from international duty.

He started the season on a roll with eight goals in his first 10 matches, but has not scored from open play since mid-October and his last goal came on December.

According to the news, Bruce was quoted saying:

"There was no doubt Zaki had the world at his feet last October when he scored those two goals against Liverpool at Anfield...He had a wonderful chance over here but he was badly advised I think, he listened to the wrong people. It's a shame it's worked out this way, he set us on fire with those goals earlier in the season."

Well that sucks...let's hope it all worked out for the best and he continues to score goals for us!
