Stop drinking the haterade. Gotta give them props for their entrepreneurial spirit and for incorporating elements of our culture into their designs. Every piece might not be perfect but you have to admit that a lot of their stuff is really nice

Ok, so I know this sounds like a broken record, but i need to express my views too.. right?! well, i think some of the "elhorreya" designs are cute and all but the majority is either bland or balady. I know they "Hana, Heba,Dina & Meram" are trying to show our culture in what they produce, but fee 7agat 2alashet menhum. i mean really, most of the bags are way bland & tasteless.. la heya designer wala heya club Aldo .. yet really pricey! I hope they are using genuine leather afterall. Also the shakhaleel & patterns they're working with are really really VULGAR to say the least. eh kol dah. you can have all the shakhaleel you want just tone it down if you know what I mean. I know their stuff is selling like crazy but only because their friends are the ones buying the stuff.

I dont like this "balady" word.. Cant you use something else to express a negative thing without referring to a country..

To me Azza Fahmy and Amina K. are the only designer who really know how to use Egyptian art/culture in their work.

Hebz and Co. are trying to add our culture because it is fashion now to use cultural things. But they simply dont understand the Egyptian culture and thats why it does not look authentic.
Thats why I guess Hebz and Co. should stay on their western designs.
