According to recent news, archeologists have found a mummified puppy; "A small mummified body which a CT scan would reveal to be a young terrier-type dog. The puppy was found entombed with an Egyptian man who was probably its owner."
The puppy is approximately 2,300 years old and is thought to be one of the world's rarest mummified animals.
According to researchers, it was unusual to mummify dogs suggesting that the owner just wanted to be buried with his puppy.
Guess dogs have always been man...or pharaohs best friend!
