This Ramadan there is one show we haven't stopped hearing about! Hend Sabry's comedy "3ayza atgawez" has been either hated or loved.
We personally think its pretty funny, if you take it for what it is. It's meant to be a slapstick funny show full of habal and overexaggeration, but some people don't like it and that's fair enough.
Hend's show is based on the various outrageous situations that a girl dying to get married encounters. We think it's quite fitting considering the amount of girls in the same predicament!
So everyone either loves it or hates it, what do you guys think??

We've witnessed a trend this ramadan and a disappointing one at that...no we're not going to preach about people's morals or lack there of....but rather the outwardly overly aggressive tv presenters that are on the tele.
The likes of Wafaa el kilany and Tony Khalifa just to name a few are some of the latest interviewers/presenters who have taken on an overly dramatic and aggressive interviewing style...that we have to say is quite lame.
We've all watched international news shows, and we've all seen Barbara Walters ask those hard hitting questions when needed...but the sly overtly touchy topics, and cornering people on air is one step too far if you ask us!
Yes we know all those being interviewed have been paid a pretty penny to appear, but we do not believe any of them knew they were going to be publicly humiliated...from degrading fifi abdoo (whom some of you may think deserves it just because of her occupation) to outwardly making the mother of a murdered daughter cry on tv is another thing...
Hard hitting journalism we're all for, digging up the truth and revealing it to the public...why the heck not...but being grossly aggressive just to get ratings without any merit behind it is a whole
other issue...
If you ask us, and we're sure plenty others agree, they have lost all their credibility.

We all know how obsessed society has become with their blackberry's and iphones...and it was only a matter of time before someone in Egypt jumped onto the app bandwagon!
Low and behold, a group of people created the first of it's kind app in Egypt, called the Circle Tie.
It's the first social guide on Blackberry in Egypt...which uses GPS to tell you where the closest hot spots are in your vicinity & tell your friends where you are by checking in your location. You may also use status updates to allow others to know what is happeneing around you.
It only works for Cairo now, but we have to say it's a fantastic idea:
to download the app off your blackberry go to: www.circletie.com/blackberry/CircleTie.jad
Would you guys use it?

One of Cairo's premier it boys, went all out for his birthday party the other night!
Lions, Jugglers, magicians and more...were all brought to a private apartment in which the larger than life celebrations took place.
Who would of known that you could rent the Egyptian National Circus for a day?
For a bunch of twenty somethings, they sure were as happy as toddlers on a day out!

So apparently...rumor has it that a Jordanian producer is claiming that Interpol is looking for singer/actress Diana Karazone who lives in Egypt!
The producer filed a lawsuit against the singer/actress for breaking her contract with him resulting in $1 million in compensation. She apparently also refused to sing a duet for Jordan for charity, damn, who says no to charity? Although, to be fair, it is a rumor and that's not why Interpol is looking for her.
The producer claimed to help both the Jordanian and Egyptian Interpol find her in Egypt!
Apparently not a very happy Ramadan for Diana!

Rumbles around town are that some major Hollywood producers have made their way out to everyone's favorite Emirate (Dubai) to discuss the possibility of filming some of the Mission Impossible IV movie out there...
This isn't the first time that big budget films have made their way out to the flashy city, both Syriana and Kingdom of Heaven were shot in the UAE...one big film though that didn't make the cut was Sex in the City 2 (although the premise of the film was set in Abu Dhabi, the film was shot in Morocco.
What we find completely depressing is that Egypt was once known as the hub of the Middle Eastern cinematic world, the fact that we can't land any big budget movies to come and film here worries us!
