One of Cairo's staple hangouts has just upped its game!
Sequoia just launched its fusion menu, which is a mix of both western and oriental beverage traditions, flavors, ingredients, and techniques, and artfully updated them to create an exquisite menu that is refreshing, trendy and creative for the discerning modern drinker.
"The menu contains an exotic selection of specialty cocktails, mock-tails, shooters and punch, featuring the savory classic recipes infused with natural ingredients from the East, such as Hibiscus, tamarind, and sugarcane juice to create a sensuous blend that is bold and tasty. Hard drinks, beer, wine, cold drinks and hot drinks were thoughtfully chosen, from local and imported products, to complete the menu and to cater to everyone's desires. Fresh healthy choices of fruit juices and smoothies have also been incorporated to provide nutritious drinks for the health conscious."
Looks like they are starting a new beverage culture, trend and taste for all you connoisseurs out there.

Too soon to create a movie about the fall of Egypt's last president? Well obviously not right?!?!
Egyptian director Mahmoud Kamel cast actress Lebleba 2 play Suzanne in the new movie "Lailat Suqout Al Rayes"
We're pretty sure this isn't going to go down well with the ex 1st family, although we're sure they have bigger things to worry about at the moment!

As more and more stories arise from the revolution, we're sure there will be a handful of movies covering every angle possible about what went down during the last month...
Word on the street is that Mona Zaki is "thinking about portraying the life of Sally Zaher, who is one of the martyrs of Egypt’s Tahrir Square, in a new film. During the protests that began in Egypt on January 25 to overthrow the government of former Egyptian president Husni Mubarak, Sally was walking towards the square to participate in the protests and was hit on the head by one of the bandits in the streets.
Sally had died shortly from bleeding in the head. Muna was one of the first Egyptian stars to take an active part in the protests that broke out around Egypt. Muna had stated that she feels it is a very good way to honor Sally and all the martyrs in a film that portrays the facts about the January 25 Revolution"
What do you guys think, too soon to start making movies about the martyrs and the revolution?

We're hearing that all of Cairo's Who's Who are heading out to Gouna this weekend for not one but two of Egypt's socialites birthdays.
Looks like not only are they trying to help Egypt's tourism, but they're also trying to escape Cairo's curfew...
Do you think people will begin traveling around the country again?
