So this weekend looks like it was the last big weekend, except we can't forget the up coming Electrum records party next week...

So what happened this weekend:

Thursday:

Sky Bar - Just like every day of the weekend, sky bar was on fire! It looks like Egyptians can't get enough of the Lebanese import!

Although there was a rumor going around that a Ms. Kelly Rowland would be making an appearance, it turned out to be exactly that...just a rumor. Never the less, the change to commercial music was much needed, making this weekend better than the last!

We have to say though the fight that broke out at the end of the night was definitely a buzz kill!

The Black Party - At the Baretza Club House in Marassi Shneeberz entertainment through a private event, that had promise to be an R&B party, but unfortunately like everything else in this country it ended up turning into a house party...But never the less some of us haven't had this kind of fun a long time even if the majority of the crowd wasn't too old!

Friday:

ByGanz - For the 2nd weekend in a row, Ganzoury rocked everyone's Friday. The Freemasons ft. Katherine Ellis (the vocalist) turned Tamarai into one of the best beach parties...Although the venue was a bit spread out, the music was perfection!

Mercedes Star Lounge - DJ Omar Sherif was the headlining Dj at Star Lounge, all though it's not the same as the international line up that was rocking the venue in the last 3 weeks, we have to say his music never falters. All who were there enjoyed the mixes...we just don't get why the venue hasn't received the attention it should?!

Facebook is a phenomena that none of us can deny, most of you are on it all day, updating statuses...uploading new pictures...stalking one another...It is without a doubt one of the biggest websites, if not the biggest...

So what does Hollywood do when they see a potential blockbuster of a story do? They make a movie..."The Social Network" just released their trailer for the new film chronicling the rise of the website, and the enemies Mark Zuckerberg made on his rise up.

Check out Justin Timberlake in the film...we can't wait for it's October release! With over 500 million users on facebook we can imagine this film will be a sure fire hit! 

Meet Ms. Sara Al-Khouly...stop scratching your heads it isn't anyone we know...The Egyptian-Croation 22 year old was born and raised in Dubai...and attends the American University in Sharjah...

100 bucks we start seeing her make the rounds here in Egypt!

She'll be representing us this year at the Miss World 2010 Pageant in China this November...Her "duties" as Miss Egypt will involve a lot of charity work, attending various events (we told you be prepared to see her!) and has to act as a corporate brand ambassador (we have no idea what brands)!

Is it just us or is there an eerily weird resemblance between here and one of Cairo's models...think C&Co's new sunglass ad!
