As we all know this weekend isn't starting off with too big of bang, due to tomorrow's dry night, but we're sure that isn't going to stop anyone!

We hear a bunch of house parties will be happening on Thursday, in light of there being no where to go out too (wait for S&H's weekend roundup for all the details)

As for Friday, everyone in Sahel has two choices of events to chose from!

Mercedes Star Lounge is back, with Serge Devant one of the worlds biggest DJ's...the event is invites only.

Aly el Awadi will be DJ'ing beside Serge, while the alcohol will be flowing due to the premium open bar...

If your more into the hip hop and R&B scene, without the sketchy crowd head out to Indigo Marassi, to hear DJ AK spin some of the hottest tunes that will make your "booty's shake"?!?


But if you're looking for a normal night out there are always our favorites Andrea and Tamarai NC 151 which you could head out to...or you could stay home and unwind in the fresh air!

Last night in an intimate and beautiful wedding at the Four Seasons Sherine Arafa and Tarek Tantawy tied the knot in front of all their friends and family! We wish the young couple a long and happy future together!

On Saturday, July 10, The Network of Arab American Professionals in New York (NAAP-NY) will host the 8th Annual Arab-American and North-AfricanCultural Street Festival and proudly kick-off New York City's Annual Arab HeritageWeek!In celebration, they'll have a number of performances from singers/DJs/etc from all over the region and an exhibitions including crafts, Arabic literature, and food!

The festival will take place from 10 am to 7 am on Great Jones St (between Broadway & Lafayette in the Village)
