And they're back!

June 15, 2010

We recently reported that the rumored Qatari/Four seasons deal was called off when they backed out...but they're back!

Apparently, our Qatari friends couldn't stay away for too long because they ended up returning to buy the Four Seasons (the mall and the hotel) for $250 million dollars!

Seeing as Qatar seems to be taking over the world, what do you think their next conquer will be?

The "I don't care" look

June 15, 2010

Girls seem to have this look...this look that really makes us nauseated. It's the "I don't care look" or better yet...the "I have somewhere better to be" look.

If you've been to any public event within the last say, few years, you know exactly what we're talking about.

It's a hard look to achieve, don't be fooled. To achieve the "I don't care look", you have to  walk through clubs, lounges, anywhere for that matter like you're Paris freaking Hilton (which isn't a compliment actually). Your lips must be pouted, your walk must have attitude, your stance must have attitude, and you must smoke your cigarette like you're thinking "Ugh..." with an eye-roll. Also, you must look around like you're looking down upon your mignons and when someone smiles, you deliver only a hint of a smirk. Alas, you have achieved the bitchy "I don't care look" that Egyptian girls have mastered oh so well.

Then music starts. Oh shit what do you do? It's okay! You can achieve this look while dancing too. What you do is shake your hips and shoulders like you're a much hotter version of Fergie or Shakira, but in slow motion and with the slow gaze around again like you'd rather be somewhere else, and the final touch...the pout. It's not an Angelina pout, no, no...this is much more perfected. It's a "oh, my lips look like this naturally" pout.

We hate this look, we really do. We're not sure why girls do it, especially the newer generation that think they belong on Gossip Girl.

Girls, we're on to you!
