For some men and maybe even some women she's as good as it gets..The Middle Eastern Sex Kitten Ms. Haifaa Wahbe doesn't leave much to the imagination but she sure knows how to get people riled up!
Now the what some would call a singer will be hitting the U.S. for her second tour in North America or any other America's since she pretty much has penetrated anywhere else but the Middle East!
She'll be performing four shows in late March in Las Vegas, Detroit, New Jersey and Houston, only her second swing through the U.S.
Yup hit up all those Arab populated states, we're sure the tour will be a success though, if Amr Diab could do it she can too...we all know sex sells!

In this day and age it's all about originality and being able to out perform your competitor.
Two of the biggest competing brands are 7 Up and Sprite, although 7 up has continued down the Fido Dido route since as far back as we can remember, we have to admit Sprite's new campaign here in Egypt, seems to have caught the eye of its target Market.
The new howa keda ads speak to the young Egyptians who basically don't want to fit into the stereotypical societal rules that are enforced on us...
Check them out below, we especially like the girls one...but we don't really get the endings...
So check them out on Youtube:

Queen Rania of Jordan is currently at AUC, giving a speech on civic engagement in the Arab world...
The breath taking queen is an AUC alumni to begin with and has returned to her stomping grounds for all the undergrads to particpate in improving the Middle Eastern socio political outlook.
UPDATE US CAIRO...let us know how it's going!

Cairo you exhaust us, or maybe it was the weather this weekend that exhausted us? Either way a lot went down over the weekend and we're not too sure where to begin...
Due to Mooled El Nabi landing on last Thursday, everyone's weekend began a little earlier than usual, with the Privileged party at Buddha Bar, young up and comer Moniem celebrated his 18th birthday while DJ Abel Ramos spun from Spain...Although overall we can't complain we will have to say the crowd was way to young...what happened to checking ID's at the door?
Thursday saw one of the craziest storms to hit Cairo in years, Hail, Rain, Lightening, Thunder, accompanied by a dry night at all the venues meant an array of house parties all over town, from a 21 year old socialites birthday party in Katameya, to Mr. Heir to a huge cement empires house party in zamalek.
Friday night Cairo's socialites were split over four locations Tania El Chiaty's birthday extravaganza gathering, Tamarai, Alaa El Gohary and Danya Shilbaya's engagement and the relaunch of Indigo.
First off we'd like to congratulate the happy couple...
As for Indigo live musicians Negm (percussion) and a saxophonist accompanied the Awadi brothers who entertained the crowd at Indigo. Although we had never been there previously we have to say the venue is gorgeous and over the top, the crowd was perfect and under control, but what's up with the alcohol finishing towards the end of the night?
Is this Cairo's new weekend hot spot?
As for your saturday Cairo, you can always take it easy, kick back and relax, or go to Bodega on a chill night.

Seems like guys are getting creative these days ;)
We've been raised with the idea that proposals pretty much entail just getting the parents together and then deciding to read the fatt7a...but these days we're hearing about guys who are getting down on one knee and doing it old school movie style!
While most of the stories aren't exactly getting down on one knee, we are hearing adorable creative stories of proposals to girls. Just one question though...so what happens if the families say no after the girl says yes? We've been wondering about that!
So what do you guys think about that? Do you prefer the traditional family proposals or do you like the "will you marry me?"
